BR-2500 BRIDGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Central Alarm System │Conning pages │System Integration Platform

Br 2500

Better safety and performance with centralized alarm system. You can edit the conning pages freely and the system integration is flexible.

CENTRAL ALARM SYSTEM

The Alert Management System centralizes the alerts on the bridge to the reach of navigator as required
by the rules of classification authorities. Alerts are displayed in the order of priority. The operator can
recognize and acknowledge them without losing touch to his main task - navigation of the ship.

The status of the latest 20 active alerts are shown on the alert pages providing decision support. User can also view all the alerts of the system that are shorted by groups. On these pages the navigator can see also which alarms are pending i.e. acknowledged but still active. The alert history records the 1000 latest alert events.

Note! Also standard BNWAS system Furuno BR-500 can be connected in the system.

Alarm statuses are displayed on the alarm pages. Alarms are divided into groups:

  • Navigation Alarms
  • GMDSS Alarms
  • Engine Alarms
  • The Control System Alarms
  • General Alarms

On these pages the navigator finds the open alarms, that is, those that have been noted, but are still active.

Furuno BR-500 BNWAS system can be connected to the same system with BR-2500.

CONNING

The user has one conning-page active on the screen page at a time. The alarm system BR-2500 for conning can create customized pages required by the classification society in addition to the basic pages. The pages are browsed either with a button or a track ball. When the alarm is triggered, an alarm buzzer will sound and red flashing text cause for the alarm is displayed on the screen. The different color codes are used to distinguish the alarm priority.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

The alarm system BR-2500 can be integrated into a variety of systems:

  • Weather reporting
  • Watertight doors indicators
  • Fire alarm display
  • Gates and ramps indicators
  • Navigation lights
  • Forecast Pages, etc.

The information is displayed on a special pages designed for the vessel according to the user's instructions and specifications. Custom website data obtained by the BR-2500 system interface module. The system supports a large number of different interfaces (see, BR-2500 system diagram).
