Persons in charge of the vessel are the key safety factor of navigation. Their training has to be up-to-date all the time.

Training for Furuno Integrated Navigation Systems is performed at Aboa Mare simulator center in Turku, Finland by using real bridges delivered and maintained by Furuno Finland Oy.

Furuno has also INS Training Center in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Both training centers are certified to give ECDIS and INS training.
