Furuno Finland Oy has long history in delivering integrated surveillance and control systems. These systems are developed into harsh conditions in coastal usage. They typically include camera, radar, communication and control parts integrated tightly together to form one large scale system fulfilling all customer needs.
Target areas of the system are safety, security, search and rescue and preventing of the criminal actions along the coastline.

The system includes functionalities to monitor and control the coast line in comprehensive manner. This target is achieved with integrating following high quality units into one system:

• Communication system
• Command and control system
• Cameras and electro optical units
• Radars
• AIS receivers
• Other sensors if needed

Commercial off the shelf (COTS) devices are used in the system to keep cost of the system in the reasonable level for the customer. Anyhow, all the devices are high quality equipment and functionality of the system is proven in heavy conditions.

Depending on the system size and amount of the coastal stations the system normally is built hierarchically.
The coastal patrol boats and vessels may be integrated also inside the same system.
